TALMADGE NAMED NECC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK
ATTLEBORO, MA, Jan. 12, 2009 - For the second consecutive
week, women's basketball freshman point guard Carolyn
Talmadge (Wilbraham, MA) was named New England Collegiate
Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week.
Talmadge averaged 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.5 steals, including a collegiate career-high 19-point effort in the Blazers' 69-45 non-conference win at St. Joseph (CT) on Monday, January 5.
For the season, Talmadge has averaged 7.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 10 starts.
