Williams Named NAC Player Of The Week

  WILLIAMS NAMED NAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CHICOPEE, MA. April 1, 2008 - Elms College sophomore catcher Tiffany Williams (Berlin, CT) was named the North Atlantic Conference softball player of the week on Monday, March 31.

Williams batted .545 (6 for 11) with a double, three RBI and two runs scored in a 3-1 week for the Blazers. She also registered 21 putouts and a .958 fielding percentage in four starts behind the plate.

Elms College returns to non-conference play Wednesday, April 2 at Worcester State.  Game time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
