Men's Basketball Picked To Defend NAC Title
MEN'S BASKETBALL PICKED FIRST IN NAC PRESEASON POLL
CHICOPEE, MA, Nov. 12, 2007 - The North Atlantic
Conference (NAC) released its men's basketball preseason poll on
Monday and Elms College was selected first in a vote conducted by
each of the conference's 10 head coaches.
The Blazers, who received eight of 10 first place votes for a total of 98 points, return nine players from last year's team that won its third straight NAC Tournament title and posted its third consecutive 20-win season.
Husson, which went undefeated in conference play a year ago, finished second with 86 points, while Lesley (81) and Maine-Farmington (74) each earned one first place vote to place third and fourth, respectively.
