MEN'S BASKETBALL PICKED FIRST IN NAC PRESEASON POLL

CHICOPEE, MA, Nov. 12, 2007 - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) released its men's basketball preseason poll on Monday and Elms College was selected first in a vote conducted by each of the conference's 10 head coaches.

The Blazers, who received eight of 10 first place votes for a total of 98 points, return nine players from last year's team that won its third straight NAC Tournament title and posted its third consecutive 20-win season.

Husson, which went undefeated in conference play a year ago, finished second with 86 points, while Lesley (81) and Maine-Farmington (74) each earned one first place vote to place third and fourth, respectively.
