REICHMAN NAMED ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER
CHICOPEE, MA, May 15, 2007 - Elms College
Director of Athletics Louise McCleary recently
announced the hiring of Tiffany Reichman as
assistant athletic trainer.
Reichman, who is certified by both the National Athletic Trainers Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association, brings more than four years of professional experience to the College's position.
Prior to Elms College, Reichman worked as a certified athletic trainer for the Sport Rehab Clinic in Depew, New York since November, 2006 and served as the head athletic trainer at Depew High School during that time.
While completing her master's degree, Reichman completed an athletic training internship with the men's basketball program at Division I University at Buffalo in 2006-07, where she aided in injury care, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning.
"We are excited to have Tiffany join our athletic department," McCleary said. "As a former Division III student athlete, she has a thorough understanding of the Division III philosophy, and as a recent masters graduate, she brings excellent credentials and experience to this position."
Reichman worked as a certified athletic trainer with the University at Buffalo's Sports Medicine Institute for two years, where she was the head athletic trainer for three public high schools in Buffalo, New York.
From 2004-2007, she also served as a certified athletic trainer for both the Buffalo Explorer and Western New York hockey leagues.
Reichman earned bachelor's degree in physical education,
athletic training and psychology from the State University of New
York at Brockport in 2003. She then went on to complete her
master's degree in health and human performance from Canisius
College in 2007.
