Athletics Hall of Fame
Membership into the Elms College Athletic Hall of Fame can include
any former student athlete (five years after their graduation
class), coach, administrator, or other individual who has made an
impact on the athletic and college community, who has brought
distinction to the athletic program, who has significantly
benefited the college, and who is an outstanding example of
character, leadership, commitment, sportsmanship, and integrity. An
Elms College Blazers 'team,' which has distinguished itself through
high achievement or singular accomplishment, may be nominated.
All nominations should include a written statement detailing why the nominee is a good candidate for the Athletic Hall of Fame. All achievements, honors, or awards that apply to the nominee should be listed on the nomination form. Further, if there are any other references we should contact for additional information, please include their name and contact information.
Each year, we encourage nominations. The deadline for all nominations is February 1. The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee will review all nominations and vote on the nominees for induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame. Induction requires an 80-percent overall vote. The induction ceremony will take place in the fall.
