A Few Words From Coach Condon

Although it has really been winter weather, we are playing softball! It is a challenge for us and our opponents to stay warm and loose in these temperatures, but we are hopeful that the warm weather will come soon.

We continue to play very well defensively, and I believe that less than two errors per game gives us a higher percentage of success, and we have accomplished that to-date. Although it is challenging to pitch in the cold, our pitching staff has done well. Their ball-to-strike ratio is good, and they are giving our defense good chances to make outs.

We have two more out of conference games this week and we open up with NECC play this upcoming weekend. Blazers softball is getting into rhythm, as we are able to get outside and practice and play.
