A Few Words From Coach Streeter
Welcome to the Elms College Men's Soccer Coach's Corner!
It was an exciting season for our 2009 Elms College men's soccer
team. With a very competitive non-conference schedule and an
extremely challenging NECC schedule, our qualification for the post
season was very much a well earned reward for our hard work!
Some highlights during our season:
Captain Ben Masse's game winning goal in OT vs. Emmanuel. A
quality finish from a quality player.
A season high 7 outstanding goals vs. Wheelock in our season
conference opener.
Justin and Adam burying goals to lead us to victory against a very
tough Mount Ida team.
Chris Silva leading the goal scoring attack against Southern
Vermont in a fast paced exciting OT victory!
Defeating Becker College at home on senior day to qualify for the
NECC post-season.
I'd very much like to thank our seniors Ben Masse, Nick
Pellegrini, and Nick Bamford for their excellence this season. I
will miss them on our roster next season, and look forward to
seeing them tackle the real world!
I'd also like to thank our parents and fans for your support this
year! You guys make playing and coaching that much more fun!
As for our next step, the winter will bring indoor soccer
tournaments and league play. In the spring, we'll train for five
weeks to prepare for our spring tournament, as well as to begin to
prepare for our upcoming 2010 season.
With the combination of our returning players, and the outstanding
high school seniors joining our Elms College family, the future of
the Elms College soccer program looks very bright.
Thank you for taking the time to follow our team! We hope to see
you on the field soon!
