Women's Lacrosse Lose in a Tough Road Conference Matchup to Johnson & Wales
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Elms College Women's Lacrosse team traveled to Johnson & Wales University in conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Johnson & Wales would control the momentum early, scoring seven goals in the first quarter. The Elms defense would see a lot of shots going against them, but the Blazers would see a goal from sophomore midfielder Rachel Dort (Chicopee, Mass.). In the second quarter, the Wildcats would continue to control the narrative, adding an additional six goals before the halftime break, with a 13-1 lead.
Coming out of the break, JWU would score first, but Elms would answer shortly after when junior attack/midfielder Jackie Cronin (Smithtown, N.Y.) would find an open senior midfielder/attack Greta Frankwicz (Cape Elizabeth, Maine). The Wildcats offense would continue to control the narrative of the game, scoring 11 more goals before the final whistle, defeating the Blazers 24-2.
