Coach Marcyoniak Participates on Worcester Railers Women in Sports Panel

WORCESTER, Mass. - Elms College's Associate Athletic Director and Head Softball Coach Bre Marcyoniak participated in the Women in Sports Panel, hosted by Worcester Railers, the ECHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, in honor of National Girls and Women in Sports Night on Friday evening at the DCU Center.

Coach Marcyoniak would be joined on the panel by Shannon Chiras (Coordinator of Hockey Operations of the American Hockey League), Karrah Ellis (Franklin High School Athletic Director), Kimberly Golinski (President of the Worcester Railers), Natalie Noury (Television Sports Reporter for NESN), Heather Palmer (Major Gift Officer of the United States Golf Association), and Allie Silliman (Nichols College junior softball player). The panel would be moderated by Dr. Patty Raube Keller, the Program Director for Sports Administration at Boston College.

Following the panel, Coach Marcyoniak, along with the other members of the panel, would participate in the ceremonial puck drop prior to the Railers game against the Atlanta Gladiators, the ECHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators.

When asked about the experience, Coach Marcyoniak stated that "it was an honor to be a part of this panel of influential women. Being able to share my journey in sports and learn from others in this industry was very special to me. I would like to thank the Worcester Railers and Dr. Patty Raube Keller for this opportunity, it was a fun night!"
