Turco Named NEWBA Second Team of the Week for Second-Straight Week
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) has announced their weekly award selections for the week ending on February 1st Tuesday afternoon.
NEWBA Weekly Awards Release - February 3, 2026
Sophomore forward/center Mary Turco (Winthrop, Mass.) was named to the NEWBA Second Team of the Week for the second consecutive week after Turco put up 22 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and a steal against Saint Joseph's College of Maine last week, with a 57.1 field goal percentage and a 85.7 free throw percentage.
