Turco Earns NEWBA Second Team of the Week
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) has announced their weekly award selections for the week ending on January 25th Tuesday evening.
NEWBA Weekly Awards Release - January 27, 2026
Sophomore forward/center Mary Turco (Winthrop, Mass.) was named to the NEWBA Second Team of the Week after Turco put up 14.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Blazers last week. She collected 11 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks against Albertus Magnus before putting up 18 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Colby-Sawyer.
