Women's Basketball Picked Tenth in 2025-26 GNAC Preseason Poll

WINTHROP, Mass. - Following a vote amongst the league's head coaches, the Elms College Women's Basketball team has been selected to finish tied for tenth in the 2025-2026 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Basketball Preseason Poll, as announced on Thursday afternoon.

Elms is entering their fifth season with the GNAC, when asked about competing and the outlook for the upcoming season Coach Denisha Parks stated that "we are excited for the new season! Our conference is filled with talent, and we look forward to competing and continuing to raise the standard for our program".

The Blazers finished their season with an overall record of 10-17, with a 6-8 conference record. After being eliminated in the second round of the GNAC Tournament last year, the Elms Women's Basketball team is ready to build upon their hard work during the offseason.

Elms will start the season on the road on Saturday, November 8th at Thomas College at 7:30 pm. The Blazers will host Fitchburg State University for their home opener on Saturday, November 15th at 2 pm in Picknelly Arena and will open conference play on Saturday, January 10th hosting University of Saint Joseph, Conn. at 1 pm.

The 2025-26 GNAC Tournament will begin on Tuesday, February 24th for the First Round of the tournament leading up to the Championship which will be held on Saturday, February 28th in which the winning team will have a chance to qualify into the 2025-26 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament.
