Ten Blazers Earn Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their rosters for the 2024-2025 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Selections.

Ten Elms College athletes earned the honor by achieving a grade point average of a 3.5 or higher for the academic year.

Graduate student Kelsey Bennett (Granby, Mass.), seniors Kyla Cook (Taunton, Mass.), Sarah Fortini (Florida, Mass.), Katie Cosmos (Wolcott, Conn.), sophomores Amanda Raymond (Auburn, Maine), Caity Flynn (Colchester, Conn.), and Kaelyn Zakaitis (Amherst, Mass.), and first years Sydney Barthel (Windsor Locks, Conn.), Reece Hebert (North Haven, Conn.), and Tyanez Padilla (Springfield, Mass.) were the ten Blazers that earned the honor from NFCA.

The Blazers would also earn the honor of Scholar Team, earning the 44th highest grade point average overall in the nation for NCAA Division III softball, and the second highest in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
