Lebron Named NECC Rookie Of The Week In Men’s Volleyball
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Elms College freshman setter Daniel Lebron (San Juan, Puerto Rico) was named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week in men's volleyball as announced by the league on Monday.
Lebron guided Elms to a 2-1 week recording 8.78 assists per set including 30 assists in a 3-0 victory over NECC rival Lesley University. He also amassed 15 of 20 digs for the week and added three service aces against the Lynx. In the Blazers' 3-0 sweep of Southern Vermont College, Lebron dished out 28 helpers and added a kill to pace Elms to victory and earn his first NECC weekly accolade of the season.
