Men’s Soccer Selected to Finish First in 2013 NECC Preseason Poll

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Elms College men's soccer team was selected to finish first in the 2013 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Preseason poll as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

The Blazers, winners of the 2012 NECC Championship tournament, finished 11-8-2 overall and 4-2-1 in conference action en route to earning the program's first-ever NCAA Division III Championship appearance. Elms, which received five of eight first place votes, returns 18 players and will look to defend their title under first-year head coach Jared Sheikh.
