Three Blazers Named to the 2024 NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) released the 2024 NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction Friday morning. 550 student-athletes from more than 135 different institutions achieved this honor from across the country.

In order to qualify for the Scholars of Distinction, undergraduate student-athletes had to achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Three Blazers would be recognized for their achievements in the classroom.

Junior Elizabeth Franzoni (Rutland, Vt.), senior Sandlie Moncher (Hackettstown, N.J.), and junior Abbie Sierzego (South Hadley, Mass.) would each be named to the 2024 Scholars of DIstinction.
