Men's Lacrosse Schedule Update

CHICOPEE, Mass. - The Elms College Athletics Department announced on Thursday that the men's lacrosse team will suspend the remainder of the 2026 season due to significant injuries within the program.

This decision comes after careful evaluation of the team's current situation, including an abundance of injuries and reduced roster numbers. In consultation with the athletic department, athletic training staff, and conference leadership, it has been determined that discontinuing all men's lacrosse activities is necessary to prioritize the health and safety of our student-athletes.

The Elms community has greatly valued the presence of men's lacrosse on campus, and we are incredibly proud of the team's dedication, resilience, and accomplishments this season. We look forward to supporting their continued growth and success and eagerly anticipate their return to competition next season.

Elms College remains fully committed to the success and future of the program and is focused on returning a strong, healthy, and competitive team to the field in 2027.
