Bonavita Named Field Hockey NECC Player Of The Week

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Elms College sophomore goalkeeper Alexandra Bonavita (Agawam, Mass.) was named New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week for field hockey as announced by the organization on Monday.

Bonavita picked up 36 saves during the Blazers 0-3 start to the season, registering a .720 save percentage for the week. She faced 102 shots, 55 of which were on goal for her 210 minutes in goal. Elms fell 3-0 to Regis College, 3-0 to Smith College and 8-0 to Manhattanville College. This is Bonavita's first NECC accolade of the season.
