CHICOPEE, Mass. - Elms College Athletic Director Rob Southall announced this morning that Cheryl Hong will be added as the College's new Strength & Conditioning Coach.
"We are thrilled to welcome Cheryl to the Elms College Athletics family as one of our new Strength and Conditioning Coaches", said Southall. "Cheryl brings a tremendous passion for helping student-athletes reach their full potential through intentional training, education, and personal development. Her energy, professionalism, and dedication to the student-athlete experience will have an immediate impact across all of our programs. Strength and conditioning plays a critical role in athletic success, injury prevention, and overall student-athlete well-being. We are excited for Cheryl to help elevate our performance culture and provide our student-athletes with the tools they need to succeed both in competition and in life".
When asked about joining the Elms staff, Hong said, "I am excited to join the Elms strength and conditioning staff. I look forward to working closely with our student-athletes and coaches to build a championship work ethic that serves them both on the field and for a lifetime".
Before joining Elms, Hong attended the University of Toledo, where she spent four years as a member of the women's golf team.
