NCAA DIII Week at Elms College

Chicopee, MA - This week (4/5-4/9) marks the beginning of NCAA Division III week. In a typical year, Elms athletic teams hold a variety of in-person community service events, bringing smiles to both the Blazer athletes and the participants involved. As with so many events on campus, varsity programs have had to be creative in finding ways to connect in a meaningful way. Division III Week is a positive opportunity for all individuals associated with Division III to observe and celebrate the impact of athletics and of student-athletes on the campus and surrounding community. During the week, every Division III school and conference office is encouraged to conduct a type of outreach activity that falls into one of three categories: academic accomplishment; athletic experience; or leadership/community service/campus involvement.
