Stacy Croteau - Elms College junior women's volleyball
player Stacy Croteau (Agawam, Mass.) was selected
as this month's female student athlete spotlight.
Croteau is a social work major and is entering her third season with the women's volleyball program.
"I chose Elms College because its small prestigious school that opens a lot of doors for its students. The class size is perfect and the students on campus are like a tight knit family. Elms really allows the students to explore its possibilites freely."
Last season, Croteau led the Blazers' offensive attack with 204 kills and 61 service aces in 29 matches played. She also topped the squad in digs with 268, averaging 2.85 per set. For her efforts, Croteau was a 2009 First Team All-New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) selection. Croteau has now accumulated 359 kills through her first two seasons, good enough for third on the program's all-time kills list.
