Brendan Reed
Brendan Reed - Elms College freshman men's soccer player
Brendan Reed (East Longmeadow, Mass.) was selected
as this week's male student athlete spotlight.
Reed, an education major, is in his first season with the Blazers' men's soccer program.
Through the first 12 games of the 2010 season, Reed, primarily a midfielder, has scored one goal for Elms. On Oct. 2 in a New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) contest against Lesley University, Reed boomed a direct kick into the back of the net from approximately 30 yards away to score the Blazers' second goal of the game in a 7-3 loss to the Lynx. Reed has taken 10 shots so far this season with seven coming on goal.
