Edward Innarelli

Elms College freshman men's golfer Edward Innarelli (Ludlow, Mass.) was selected as this week's male student athlete spotlight.

Innarelli is a biology major at Elms and is in his first season as a member of the Blazers' men's golf program.

In the fall of 2010, Innarelli competed in both Blazer Invitationals at Westover Golf Course as well as the Nichols College Invitational. At the first Blazer invite, Innarelli shot an 81 and finished eighth overall. At the Nichols event, he equaled his first round of 81 and followed that with a 92 at the second Blazer Invitational.

Briefly describe your favorite sports moment (playing or as a fan):

My favorite sports moment was beating Deerfield Academy in hockey.

Who has been your biggest influence in sports and why:

My brother.

Why did you choose to attend Elms College:

I chose Elms College for the academics and men's golf program.

Where is your favorite place to travel and why:

My favorite place to travel to is the golf course.

Where is the one place you would like to travel to in the future and why:

I would like to visit Italy.

What is your favorite sports book or movie:

My favorite movie is Remember the Titans.
