Elms College SAAC Looking to Aid in the Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort

CHICOPEE, Mass. - In the wake of Hurricane Sandy’s devastation, the Elms College Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will aid the Becker College SAAC in its donation drive for the Rockaway, N.Y. area. 

If you want to donate please bring in items on Monday, November 26. You can bring items to the athletic department and baseball head coach Nathan Bashaw will bring the donated items to Becker on Tuesday, November 27.

Thank you in advance for you support as the Blazers look to team up with their fellow New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) members and provide as much aid to the hurricane relief effort as possible. 

These are the items that are urgently needed:
Black contractor bags                                                      
Candles
Gas tanks                                                                            
Matches
Cleaning supplies (Clorox wipes, etc.)                     
Diapers (for babies & adults)
Flashlights                                                                          
Batteries (all sizes)
Work gloves and work boots                                        
Face masks
Industrial brooms                                                              
Buckets
Paper towels                                                                      
Toilet paper
Baby wipes & supplies (formula, bottles, etc.)         
Non-perishable foods      
Clothes (coats, jackets, socks, hats, etc.)                   
Pet food
Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, etc.)
