Athletics Raises Money For Komen Foundation

ATHLETICS RAISES MONEY FOR KOMEN FOUNDATION

CHICOPEE, MA, Oct. 28, 2008 - The athletic department and fans recently participated in Breast Cancer Awareness Month during Homecoming Weekend.

Fans donated a total of $101 at the Homecoming field hockey, women's soccer and men's soccer games with all proceeds being donated directly to the Susan B. Komen Foundation.

As part of the athletic department's efforts to promote breast cancer awareness, all teams competing that day wore pink.
