2007 Athletic Hall Of Fame Golf Classic

2007 ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME GOLF CLASSIC

CHICOPEE, MA, Sept. 21, 2007 - Elms College's athletic department hosted its second annual Athletic Hall of Fame Golf Classic on Friday, September 21 at Chicopee Country Club.

The event began at 9:00 a.m. and included golf with cart, lunch, prizes and appetizers.  Approximately 80 golfers came out for the event, raising a total of $2,500 for the athletic department.

 "Last year, we played in torrential rain so to have this year's outing played in sunny weather was a huge improvement," Elms College Director of Athletics Louise McCleary said. "It was an enjoyable day for all, and I am already looking forward to next year."
