WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO MCLA, 3-0
NORTH ADAMS, MA, Oct. 3, 2007 - Elms College junior outside hitter Jeannette Nunez (Canovanas, Puerto Rico) knocked down a team-high 13 kills, but MCLA posted a 3-0 (32-30, 30-26, 30-20) win over the Blazers in Wednesday night's non-conference women's volleyball match at North Adams.
Elms College saw its four-match win streak snapped and fell to 6-6 overall. MCLA improved to 9-7.
Sophomore middle hitter Melissa Clark (Chicopee,
MA) added seven kills for the Blazers, who return to
action in the Seven Sisters Championship at Vassar College on
Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7.
