CHICOPEE, MA, Feb. 2, 2008 - Elms College senior Kaity Jo Bryll (East Hartland, CT) and sophomore Liz Walker (Holyoke, MA) won three events apiece to help spark the Blazers to a 132-116 win over Regis College in Saturday's women's swimming dual-meet at Partyka Natatorium.

Elms College won for the fourth time in its last five meets to improve to 8-8 overall, while Regis fell to 0-13.

Bryll posted first place finishes in the 200-meter freestyle (2:29.74), 50-meter freestyle (31.06) and 100-meter freestyle (1:07.10), while Walker won the 100-meter butterfly (1:15.69), 100-meter breaststroke (1:23.19) and 50-meter butterfly (33.63).

Sophomore Kathleen Towle (Brockton, MA) was victorious in the 400-meter freestyle (5:34.95) and freshman Alison McBride (East Providence, RI) placed first in the 800-meter freestyle (12:16.14) as Elms College's other individual event winners.

The Blazers conclude their home schedule with a dual-meet against St. Joseph's (CT) College on Friday, February 8. Meet time is 7:00 p.m. at Partyka Natatorium.
