  WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY, 7-1

SALEM, VA, Sept. 3, 2006 - Elms College freshman forward Serina Percoski (Westfield, MA) netted her first collegiate goal, but Catholic University erupted for five first-half goals en route to a 7-1 win over the Blazers in Sunday afternoon's consolation game of the Roanoke Invitational women's soccer tournament at Salem, Virginia.

Junior midfielder Jamie Walsh (Springfield, MA) and freshman forward Krystyna Gagne (Metheun, MA) were named to the All-Tournament Team for the Blazers (0-2 overall).

Elms College returns to non-conference play at Nichols College on Wednesday, September 6. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
