WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ROLLS PAST WHEELOCK, 79-52
BOSTON, MA, Dec. 5, 2006 - Elms College sophomore guard Jenn Payton (Stratford, CT) dropped in 18 points and the Blazers won their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener with a 79-52 win over host Wheelock College in Tuesday night's women's basketball game at Boston, Massachusetts.
With the victory, Elms College snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 3-3 overall, 1-0 NAC. Wheelock remained winless at 0-6, 0-3 NAC.
