Courtney Hampton will take the field for her fourth season as a member of Elms College's softball program in the spring of 2012. Last season, Hampton notched a 10-7 record in the circle and registered a 3.07 earned run average (ERA), helping the Blazers to a 22-15 overall record and a berth in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship tournament. Hampton fired a team-high 68 strikeouts in 114.0 innings of work on the mound.

Why did you choose Elms College?

I chose Elms College because Cheryl R. Condon recruited me to play softball.

Sportsmanship because win or lose, you always have each other's back.
