MEN'S SWIMMING CLIPPED AT CLARK, 84-61

WORCESTER, MA, Nov. 7, 2007 - Elms College sophomore Jason DiMauro (New Hartford, CT) clocked a pair of first place finishes and also swam a leg of the winning 200-yard medley relay, but Clark University won six individual and one relay event to pull away to an 84-61 win over the Blazers in Wednesday night's men's swimming dual-meet at Kneller Pool.

The host Cougars improved to 2-1 overall, while the Blazers dropped their dual-meet opener.

DiMauro posted winning times in both the 200-yard individual medley (2:22.15) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.43). He also teamed with sophomore Mike Starke (Chicopee, MA) and freshmen Nick Whitman (Florence, MA) and Joe King (Springfield, MA) to win the 200-yard medley relay (1:57.09).

The Blazers return to double dual-meet action on Saturday, November 10 at Babson to face the host Beavers and WPI.
