MEN'S SWIMMING SWEPT BY BABSON, WPI

BABSON PARK, MA, Nov. 10, 2007 - Elms College sophomore Jason DiMauro (New Hartford, CT) qualified for the Division III New England Championships in both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard freestyle, but the Blazers lost to WPI 86-15 and were defeated by Babson 68-25 in Saturday's men's swimming tri-meet at Babson.

Elms College freshmen Nick Whitman (Florence, MA) and Joe King (Springfield, MA) each qualified for the Division III New England Championships. Whitman qualified for selection in the 500-yard freestyle, while King qualified in the backstroke. DiMauro placed second overall in the 100-yard breaststroke.
