MEN'S SWIMMING FALLS TO GORDON, 94-86
WENHAM, MA, Jan. 27, 2007 - Elms College freshman Mike Starke (Chicopee, MA) set a new school record in the 200-yard backstroke, but Gordon College won seven individual events and both relays to earn a 94-86 win over the Blazers in Saturday's men's swimming meet at Gordon College.
Starke clocked a time of 2:27.57 en route to his school-record time in the 200-yard backstroke.
Freshman Jason DiMauro (New Hartford, CT) placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.68) and freshman Mark Pirruccio (Brewster, MA) won the 100-yard freestyle for the Blazers, who fell to 0-6.
