MEN'S SOCCER SHUTOUT AT RIVIER, 2-0
NASHUA, NH, Sept. 10, 2007 - Elms College junior goalkeeper Nick Pellegrini (Ludlow, MA) stopped four shots, but host Rivier College netted a goal in each half to earn a 2-0 win over the Blazers in Monday night's non-conference men's soccer game at Nashua, New Hampshire.
With the loss, Elms College fell to 0-2, while Rivier improved to 2-1.
The Blazers return to non-conference play when they host Norwich
University on Wednesday, September 12. Game time is 4:00 p.m. at
Leary Field.
