Box score

NEW HAVEN, CT, Sept. 20, 2007 - Elms College freshman forward T. J. Nevue (Palmer, MA) tallied his team-leading third goal of the season to provide the Blazers with an early 1-0 advantage, but Albertus Magnus College rallied for a  2-1 win over the Blazers in Thursday afternoon's non-conference men's soccer game at Celentano Soccer Field.

Nevue's goal in the 41st minute was assisted by junior forward Jack Paulo II (Chicopee, MA).  Shortly after Elms College gained the lead, the Falcons responded when senior defender Doug Cole-Hanson (New Haven, CT) buried a header off a corner kick by senior midfielder Joe Salamone (Northford, CT) 40 seconds before intermission to tie the score at 1-1.

Elms College junior goalkeeper Nick Pellegrini (Ludlow, MA) stopped six shots in the loss.

The victory improves the Falcon's record to 5-2-1, while the Blazers remain winless at 0-6 on the season.
