 MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO SALEM STATE, 3-0

SALEM, MA, Oct. 18, 2006 - Elms College sophomore goalkeeper Phil Joyce (Ashland, NH) made 15 saves, but host Salem State College used a two-goal second half to pull away to a 3-0 win over the Blazers in Wednesday's non-conference men's soccer game at Salem, Massachusetts.

With the loss, Elms College fell to 6-7-1 overall, while Salem State improved to 12-3 overall.

The Blazers, who were outshot 33-4, return to North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play when they host Johnson State College on Saturday, October 21.
