  MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO EASTERN CONNECTICUT, 6-0

WILLIMANTIC, CT, Sept. 27, 2006 - Elms College sophomore goalkeeper Nick Pellegrini (Ludlow, MA) stopped six shots, but host Eastern Connecticut State University netted five first-half goals en route to a 6-0 shutout over the Blazers in Wednesday's non-conference men's soccer game at Nevers Field.

With the loss, Elms College fell for the third time in its last four games to fall to 2-5 overall. Eastern Connecticut, which had 10 different players contribute in the scoring, improved to 3-4-2 overall.

The Blazers return to North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play when they host Becker College on Saturday, September 30. Game time is 2:30 p.m. at Leary Field.
