Box score

CHICOPEE, MA, Jan. 20, 2007 - Becker College freshman forward Jason Patterson (Attleboro, MA) dropped in a game high 30 points and was a sizzling eight of nine from the free-throw line, but three Elms College players reached double figures to lift the Blazers to a 94-75 win over the Hawks in Saturday afternoon's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's basketball game at the Maguire Center.

With the win, the Blazers have won five of their last six games to improve to 9-6 overall, 5-1 in the NAC, while Becker College drops its 10th straight and falls to 1-14 overall, 0-7 in the NAC.

Freshman guard Juan Galdon (Holyoke, MA) netted a collegiate career-high 16 points, connecting on 3 of 4 three-point attempts.

With five minutes remaining in the first half, junior forward Renato Lindmets (Springfield, MA) made a dunk to give the Blazers a 34-24 lead, and they never looked back.

Lindmets contributed 12 points and six rebounds for the Blazers, while senior guard David Williams (Hartford, CT) knocked in 14 points on five of six shooting from the field to round out the double figure scorers.

Sophomore forward Joe Esile (Milford, CT) was solid off the bench draining three 3-pointers for the Blazers.
