MEN'S BASKETBALL SINKS MAINE MARITIME, 77-59

CASTINE, ME, Dec. 9, 2006 - Elms College junior forward Renato Lindmets (Springfield, MA) tallied a team-high 16 points, and the Blazers rallied from a six-point halftime deficit to earn a 77-59 win over Maine Maritime Academy in Saturday's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's basketball game at Castine, Maine.

With the win, Elms College improved to 4-4 overall, 1-1 NAC. Maine Maritime fell to 4-3 overall, 2-2 NAC.

Senior guard John Ancrum (Harlem, NY) chipped in with 12 points and a game-high four assists for Elms College, which trailed 36-30 at intermission.
