MEN'S BASKETBALL FALLS AT LESLEY, 94-82

CAMBRIDGE, MA, Feb. 13, 2007 - Elms College freshman guard Juan Galdon (Holyoke, MA) netted a team-high 16 points, but Lesley University senior guard James Parker (Sandwich, MA) tallied a game-high 30 points to secure a 94-82 victory for the Lynx in Tuesday night's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's basketball game at Cambridge.

With the loss, Elms College falls to 16-7 overall, 11-2 NAC, while Lesley University improves to 13-11 overall, 9-6 NAC.

Parker was an impressive 8 of 12 from beyond the arc to lead the Lynx past the Blazers who lost for only the second time in their last 10 games.

Junior forward Nate Hawes (New Hope, MN) contributed 13 points and seven rebounds, and senior guards David Williams (Hartford, CT) and Justin Davis (Huntington, NY) added 12 points apiece for the Blazers in the loss.

Lesley senior forward Michael Lush (Chelsea, MA) registered 22 points on 7 of 8 shooting, and junior guard Joseph Chatman (Boston, MA) added 16 points and dished out eight assists in the win for the Lynx.

The Blazers return to conference action when they travel to Johnson State on Friday, February 16. Tip-off is 6:00 p.m.
