MEN'S BASKETBALL DOWNS LASELL 68-64 TO ADVANCE TO
NORTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE (NAC) TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

BANGOR, ME, Feb. 23, 2007 - Sophomore forward Malakie Berry (Enfield, CT) netted a team-high 12 points and three players reached double figures to help the Blazers post a 68-64 win over Lasell College in the semifinals of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Tournament on Friday night at Husson College.

With the win, Elms College (19-8) advances to its third consecutive NAC Tournament title game and will face top-seeded and host Husson College on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is 2:00 p.m. at Newman Gymnasium.

Husson punched its ticket into the championship game with a 95-79 win over Lesley University in Friday night's first semifinal.

Junior guard Randy Hite (Hartford, CT) added 11 points and freshman point guard Juan Galdon (Holyoke, MA) chipped in with 10 points for the Blazers, who led 28-27 at halftime.
