MEN'S GOLF FINISHES FOURTH IN SEASON-ENDING MATCH
AT RHODE ISLAND COLLEGE

PROVIDENCE, RI, May 2, 2008 - Elms College sophomore Ben Kwiatkowski (Chicopee, MA) carded a team-best round of 83 for Blazers in their fourth place finish in the season-ending Rhode Island College men's golf quad-match on Friday at Triggs Memorial Golf Course.

Wesleyan swept a quad-meet on a rainy afternoon with a team score of 325. Rhode Island College was 11 strokes back (336), while Worcester State (338) and Elms (360) rounded out the foursome.

Senior Neil Daigneault (Ludlow, MA) fired an 87 and freshman Andrew Sullivan (West Springfield, MA) added an 89 for the Blazers.

Rhode Island College junior Lionel Noel (West Warwick, RI) was the medalist with a score of 74, finishing three strokes ahead of Wesleyan senior David Velardo (Wilmington, MA). Worcester State freshman Bob Bruso (Auburn, MA) rounded out the top three with a score of 79.
