MEN'S GOLF FALLS TO WNEC, 312-327
CHICOPEE, MA, May 2, 2007 - Elms College junior Neil Daigneault (Ludlow, MA) finished first overall but Western New England College (WNEC) placed three golfers in the top five to earn a 312-327 victory over the Blazers in Wednesday's dual match at Chicopee Country Club.
Daigneault shot a 1-over par 72 to claim first place.
WNEC senior EJ Czajkowski (Burlington, CT) carded a 2-over 74 to earn top honors for the Golden Bears while sophomore Mark Waskiewicz (Hadley, MA) shot a round of 76 to finish third overall.
Elms College senior Matt Walsh (Springfield, MA) registered a round of 78 while WNEC sophomore Mike Roy (Plymouth, MA) and freshman Stephen Adamshick (Milton, NY) each tallied rounds of 81 to round out the day's top five scorers.
Wednesday's match concluded the Blazers' 2007 spring schedule.
