MEN'S GOLF COMPETES AT WNEC INVITATIONAL
SPRINGFIELD, MA, April 19, 2007 - Elms
College junior Neil Daigneault (Ludlow, MA)
finished 12th overall in Thursday afternoon's Western
New England College (WNEC) men's golf Invitational at Veteran's
Golf Course.
Elms College placed 11th overall with a combined score of 357. WNEC placed first and shot a combine score of 301 which was one shot better than Salem State (302) which finished second.
Daigneault shot a four-over par 76 to lead the Blazers.
WNEC sophomore Mike Roy (Plymouth, MA) fired a one-under par 71 to place first among 57 players in the Invitational.
The Blazers return to action on Wednesday, April 25 at the
Franklin Pierce Invitational. Tee time is set for 11:00 a.m.
