MEN'S GOLF FINISHES THIRD AT FRANKLIN PIERCE INVITATIONAL
RINDGE, NH, April 25, 2007 - Elms College
senior Jim Hurlbut (Roxbury, CT) carded a round of
7-over par 78 and junior Neil Daigneault (Ludlow,
MA) added an 81 to help pace the Blazers to a third place
finish at Wednesday's Franklin Pierce Invitational at the Shattuck.
Hurlbut fired off consecutive rounds of 39 on both the front and back nines, while Daigneault scored 43-38 for his 81.
Freshman Ben Kwiatkowski (Chicopee, MA) placed 10th overall in the 24-player field for the Blazers with an 85, including a 40 on the back nine.
Elms College concludes its 2007 spring schedule when it hosts
the Blazers Invitational at Chicopee Country Club. Tee times begin
at 11:00 a.m.
