Kim Cosenza is entering her first year as the head field hockey coach and fitness center manager.

Coach Cosenza brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the game of field hockey to her position at Elms College.

Prior to joining the coaching staff at Elms, Coach Cosenza spent the last two seasons as the assistant field hockey coach at Springfield College helping the Pride compile a 21-20 overall record including a 12-9 mark in 2009 that was highlighted by a trip to the New England Women’s And Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship Tournament title game. During her time there, she assisted in recruiting, fundraising, budget preparation, editing film, practice planning, game preparation, tournament organization, non-traditional season practices and managed “Play 4 the Cure Days.

As a four-year player at Worcester State University, Coach Cosenza was a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-Star in 2008, was a First Team All-Little East Conference selection in 2008, and served as a team captain during that campaign. She also garnered the Worcester State Field Hockey Leadership Award in 2008, was named to the Little East All-Academic squad in 2007 and 2008 and was a member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad in 2008 and 2009. During her four years, the Lancers posted an overall record of 41-38. Coach Cosenza, primarily a defender, scored nine goals and registered four assists during her collegiate playing career in addition to setting the Worcester State single-season record for defensive saves (7).

Coach Cosenza received a bachelor’s degree in health education from Worcester State and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in athletic administration from Springfield. She also anticipates receiving Bigger, Faster, Stronger certification in the spring of 2011.  

Meg Bradley

Meg Bradley is entering her first season as the assistant field hockey coach at Elms College.

Prior to joining the Blazers, Coach Bradley was a four-year member of the Springfield College field hockey team from 2007-11. She was a three-time New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) second team all-conference selection from 2008-11, and twice named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All Region second team in 2009 and 2010. 

Coach Bradley received her bachelor's degree in pre-physical therapy with a minor in business management from Springfield.

Chris Pothier

Chris Pothier is entering his first season as the assistant field hockey coach at Elms College.

Prior to joining the Blazers, Coach Pothier was a member of the US Men's National Junior and Senior squads from 2005-06. In 2006, he was the head coach of the Cape Ann Coalition, a premier field hockey club in New England where he coached 14-19 year old girls. 

In 2010, Coach Pothier worked as a graduate assistant coach at Springfield College where he assisted in practice and game preparation, recruiting and the day-to-day operations of the program.

Coach Pothier received his bachelor's degree in health fitness from the University of Maine and is pursuing a master's degree in education from Springfield.
