POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, Sept. 14, 2008 - Elms College senior goalkeeper Katelyn Wasgatt (Worcester, MA) stopped 11 shots, but MIT broke out to a six-goal halftime lead en route to an 11-0 non-conference field hockey shutout over the Blazers in the consolation game of the Betty Richey Tournament hosted by Vassar College on Sunday morning.

Over the two-day tournament, Wasgatt stopped 25 shots.

Senior midfielder Christine Fleury (South Hadley, MA) and junior forward Danielle Boyer (South Hadley, MA) were Elms College's two players named to the Betty Richey All-Tournament Team.
