  WOMEN'S FIELD HOCKEY FALLS TO MAINE-FARMINGTON, 6-0

FARMINGTON, ME, Oct. 28, 2006 - Elms College sophomore goalkeeper Katelyn Wasgatt (Worcester, MA) and senior goalkeeper Colleen Strunk (Stoneham, MA) combined for 14 stops, but three goals in each half propelled No. 1 Maine-Farmington to a 6-0 victory over No. 8 Elms College in Saturday's North Atlantic Conference field hockey quarterfinal match at Farmington, Maine.

With the loss, the Blazers' season ends with a 1-14 overall record. Maine-Farmington improves to 13-2 overall, and will advance to the NAC semi-finals.

The Blazers were out-shot 38-0 in the loss.
