ELMS COLLEGE FALLS TO MAINE-FARMINGTON, 5-0

CHICOPEE, MA, Oct. 21, 2006 - Elms College senior goalkeeper Colleen Strunk (Stoneham, MA) stopped 10 shots, but the University of Maine-Farmington used a three-goal second half to pull away to a 5-0 win over the Blazers in Saturday's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) field hockey game at Prescott Field.

Elms College lost its third straight game to fall to 1-12 overall, 1-7 NAC. Maine-Farmington remained atop the NAC standings as it improved to 11-2 overall, 7-0 NAC.

The Blazers conclude regular season play with a non-conference game at Nichols College on Wednesday, October 25. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
